Hello. I'm Rick! Stay at home daddy by day, DIY'er by night.

Back in early 2012 I started DIYwithRick (formerly Honey Do This!) as a way to satisfy my wife's honey do list demands. Fueled by fear and coffee, I did just that. Once the dust settled (and our baby was born) I started branching out into other projects.

Five homes, three kids and five states later, I've become the DIY hero no one ever wanted or needed. But since I'm here, I may as well build something!

Please enjoy a cup of coffee while you read my project logs, plans and posts. I find that even the worst writing is made mildly spectacular by drinking a hot cup of joe.
