Diaper Bag for Dads

You know what’s hard to find? A simple diaper bag for dads. But you know what I figured out? Diaper bags can be any bag! Just add diapers! And bottles…and wipes…and…well, check out what I picked up after the jump!

After searching through Diaper Dudes, Northface and a number of Burton Bags, I arrived at this:

The Patagonia Refugio 28L Daypack! Now here’s a diaper bag for dads!

Black changing pad for dirty men’s restroom changing tables(sold separately)!

Diapers and wipes in the main compartment.

Girly pacifier holder. Butt paste for maximum style points.

I had these eBags packing cubes from my trip to europe a few years back (love these things). These were perfect to organize a change of clothes, bibs, burp clothes, socks, hats, etc.

Placed these in the main compartment. Top handles make them easy to grab n’ go.

Grabbed the PackIt Mini Cooler for the bottles, to be put in the front compartment. You can freeze this but I usually put an ice pack in with the bottles and it works just the same.

What I’ve come to realize is that whatever bag you’re comfortable carrying around with you all the time is the ideal diaper bag. There isn’t one end-all-be-all-super-daddy-diaper-bag. For me, a simple backpack is the easiest thing to lug around with the baby in tow.

One stay at home dad (to be) conquers DIY and Diapers
